About PCARC

Founded in March 1954, we provide Pittsburg and surrounding counties with Amateur Radio services. PCARC owns, operates, and maintains six VHF/UHF amateur repeaters in and around Pittsburg County. Combined, these repeaters cover over 27,000 square miles of terrain. Our members are active on numerous modes, including VHF/UHF, HF, SSTV, APRS, Echolink, IRLP, and more. We provide the Pittsburg County Office Of Emergency Management with trained storm spotters during times of severe weather and communications support during times of emergency.  PCARC has operated under the club call sign, W5CUQ for over 60 years.
